The results of his work were presented to the Governor of the Tula region Alexey Dyumin during a business visit to the Kurkinsky district to the company's new modern feed mill.
Alexey Dyumin noted that AGROECO Group is one of the leaders of the meat industry in Russia and thanked for the work and for the social initiatives that the company implements.
AGROECO group's livestock cluster includes 8 pig farms, a feed mill, and a new residential building for employees. The volume of investments in the project amounted to more than 12 billion rubles and was implemented with the support of the government of the Tula region and the financial participation of the Russian agricultural Bank. As a result, more than 800 jobs were created with year-round employment in rural areas in three districts: Kurkinsky, Volovsky and Efremovsky, and the region came out on top for the increase in the number of pigs in Russia.
Vladimir Maslov, Founder and President of the Board of Directors at AGROECO Group, noted that the Tula region is one of the company's key partners. In the region have been established and operate effectively mechanisms for the support of investors. They allowed us to launch a large-scale project to increase the capacity of pork production in a short time. Already this year, the sites in the Tula region will produce more than 40 thousand tons of pork and more than 160 thousand tons of feed, and by 2022, these indicators will be increased by another third.
The opening of a feed mill in the Kurkinsky district was the final stage in the launch of the livestock cluster.
"The plant has already been put into operation and completely covers the need of Tula sites for feed. The project uses leading technical and bioveterinary developments, its capacity is 400 tons per day. In addition, it is possible to double the capacity of the enterprise by installing an additional line-up to 440 thousand tons per year. Here you can produce feed not only for pigs, but also poultry, cattle and even fish," said Vladimir Maslov, Founder and President of the Board of Directors at AGROECO Group.
