Agroeco Group of Companies increases pork production in the Central Federal District

In the first half of 2021, Agroeco Group of Companies produced 102.7 thousand tons of pork at its sites in the Voronezh Oblast.

Company's share in the total volume of meat production in this region (305.3 thousand tons) was 33.6%, and in the total volume of pork production (171 thousand tons) – 61%. At the moment, there are more than 1 million pigs at the Company's sites in the Voronezh Oblast, or 62.2% of the total number of pigs in the region (1.6 million), and 42.9% of the total number of cattle (2.3 million).
Growth can also be seen in the Group's performance in another region of its operations. Thus, in the first half of the year, Tula Meat Company, LLC (TMK, Agroeco`s subsidiary) produced 31.9 thousand tons or more than 70% of total pork production in Tula Oblast.

Last year, Agroeco has produced 53 thousand tons of pork and 117 thousand tons of mixed feed in this region. As a result, Tula Oblast almost tripled indicators for pork production and came out as a leader to increase number of pigs in the Central Federal District. Today, the Group of Companies continues to step up its production volumes. Thanks to this, in the first half of the year, meat production for slaughter in Tula Oblast increased by almost 15% in live weight compared to the same period in 2020 (96.5 thousand). As of July 1, the number of pigs in this region in farms of all categories has totaled to 362 thousand (7.9% growth), as can be seen from the Federal State Statistics Service data for Tula Oblast.

According to the statistics of the National Union of Pig Breeders, Agroeco Group of Companies holds eighth place in the ranking of the largest national pork producers.
