Agroeco Group of Companies invested in the economy of Voronezh Oblast more than 12 bln rubles
On December 23, Governor Alexander Gusev met with Vladimir Maslov, Chairman of the AGROECO GC Board of Directors.
Group of Companies` results in 2020 and plans for 2021 were the key topic of this meeting. Vladimir Maslov told the Head of the region that, according to the ending year`s results, Group of Companies has invested more than 12 bln rubles in the economy of Voronezh Oblast. Pork meet production exceeded target values, more than 172 thousand tons were produced in 2020. Volume of animal feed production has risen significantly – up to 600 thousand tons. In 2020 number of Agroeco employees has risen from 3 thousand to 4 thousand, and average salary on facilities in rural areas has risen by 7%, up to 42.7 thousand rubles per month.
Vladimir Maslov also updated the Governor on Company`s participation in the solution of community needs in 2020 – helping with repairs in community centers and schools, construction of playgrounds, providing medical centers with personal protection means.
Apart from that, Alexander Gusev inquired about implementation status of the large investment project on construction of the meat processing plant in the Priority Social and Economic Development Area (PSEDA) Pavlovsk. Limitations, associated with COVID pandemic, affected work schedule, and plant commissioning has been moved from spring to the late summer 2021. Now this facility readiness is about 50%. Freezing zone for intended for export products has been expanded, stuff recruitment is in progress – about 200 employees are now in training. Full capacity of the meat processing complex will be 3.8 mln animals per year.
