Artem Verkhovtsev, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, visited construction site of the AGROECO meat processing complex to assess implementation of the integrated territory development project.
As a part of work trip to Pavlovsk district of Voronezh region, Artem Verkhovtsev visited construction site of the AGROECO meat processing complex and its utilities. During this visit, he looked over key production buildings of the future plant, including ready to install state-of-the-art European equipment.
“At the present, the key stage has been implemented: all utilities were erected and commissioned: waste treatment facilities, power transmission line, roads, power center. It was possible thanks to the support fr om the regional government, district administration and construction financing from the Fund for Single Industry Towns Development. Now we are ready to start assembly the plant`s main process line,” said Vladimir Maslov, Chairman of the AGROECO`s Board of Directors.
It should be recalled that the Fund for Single Industry Towns Development contributed 1 bln rubles in the co-financing of construction and reconstruction of civil engineering, transport and power facilities.
AGROECO meat processing complex will be the second slaughter house in Russia in processed volume – full annual capability of the complex will be 3.8 mln animals. This is one of the largest projects in the meat processing field, total sum of investments will be more than 13 bln rubles. Complex production operations will be fully automated, and modern IT solutions will be integrated in its management.
In total, roughly 2200 new work positions will be created for the plant.
Complex development of this project is very important. This plant will boost development of the adjacent territories.
As a part of Complex Rural Areas Development Program, construction of the new neighborhood is planned in Elizavetovka village, including 5 multi-storey residential buildings, nursery, sports and recreation center, early learning center, sports grounds, wh ere AGROECO Company takes part in design and construction. Employees of the future plant are expected to live in this new neighborhood.
