Government of Tula Oblast and AGROECO Group of Companies entered into collaboration agreement
Document was signed by Governor Alexey Dyumin and Vladimir Maslov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AGROECO Group of Companies. Under this Agreement the Company plans to implement investment project for expansion of animal feed production in Kurkinsky District. Sum of investments will be 1.2 bln rubles.
Additionally, AGROECO GC intends to support this village complex development projects and assist in solution of other social issues in operation areas.
“Your Company successfully works in Tula Oblast for some time and boosts production volume. Aside from that, it`s a reliable social partner for our region. You pay considerable attention to the development of rural areas, pursue charity work. Implementation of this new project will allow for expansion of production capacity and will promote import substitution,” emphasized Alexey Dyumin during working meeting with the Company`s management.
“Thanks to support from the regional government, we were able to implement a large-scale project within a short time. More than 800 new jobs were created, full-scaled husbandry cluster, including farms, animal feed plant, vehicle fleet and its own crop farming base, was launched. And we see far-reaching opportunities in further development here, in Tula territory, so we are ready to expand production in the next year,” said Vladimir Maslov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AGROECO Group of Companies.
This year Tulskaya Myasnaya Kompaniya (Tula Meat Company), ООО (part of the AGROECO Group of Companies) produced 53 thous. tons of pork meat and 117 thous. tons of animal feeds. It allowed for three-fold increase in pork meat production in the region and brought region in the first place by livestock growth not only in Central Federal District, but also in Russia. After reaching full production capacity, the Company plans to produce 61 thous. tons of pork meat annually, and thanks to implementation of the new investment project, production of animal feed will also grow – up to 400 thous. tons by 2024.
Particular attention should be paid to the development of rural areas. Agribusiness holding has already built comfortable five-storey residential building for its employees in Kurkino. Future plans include participation in the design of sports and recreation center in the urban-type settlement.
Helping operation areas in provision of amenities and solution of community needs are the key priorities in the Company work. Six schools in Kurkinsky District, Volovsky District and Yefremovsky District, library reading room and registry office in Kurkino, first-aid station in Gorny urban-type settlement has been repaired in the last two years with financial help from AGROECO; personal protection means were procured for regional medical centers.
Creation of technologically advanced jobs, development of infrastructure in small communities – these are strategic goals of the Company, which AGROECO GC implements in three districts in Tula Oblast.
